Terms of use
What applies when you use Vegferd, and what the app cannot guarantee.
This is the document Vegferd shows on first launch, reproduced word for word. If you accept the terms in the app, this is the version you accept. When the text changes, the document gets a new version number and the app asks again. The terms also apply when you use Vegferd through an AI assistant with your Vegferd account.
The terms exist in Norwegian and English with the same content, and both are binding. The app shows the language your phone is set to; the Norwegian text is at /vilkar/.
Vegferd – Terms of Use
Version 2. Effective from 10 October 2026.
Welcome to Vegferd.
Vegferd is provided by Millingly AS (organisation number 937 731 760) in Bergen, Norway, under the brand name Viti Geo. Your agreement is with Millingly AS, and in these Terms "we" and "us" mean Millingly AS.
These Terms are available in Norwegian and English. Both versions are binding and have the same content.
1. Navigation Assistance
Vegferd gives you navigation, route planning and information about traffic, ferries, charging, weather and other things that are useful on the way.
You are always responsible for driving safely and for following the traffic rules, road signs and instructions from the authorities.
2. Information in Vegferd
Much of the information comes from others, including map providers, traffic authorities, ferry operators, weather services and charging networks. Road conditions, traffic, ferry schedules, the availability of charging stations and weather may change without notice. We do our best to keep the information accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee that it is always complete and accurate.
If the instructions in Vegferd conflict with road signs, traffic rules or instructions from the emergency services, follow the official instructions.
3. Location
Vegferd uses your device's location for navigation and for features that depend on where you are.
You can turn off location services, but then Vegferd cannot show where you are, start a route from there or guide you along the way. Vegferd can still be used to search and to plan a journey between two places you choose yourself.
4. Availability
We aim to keep Vegferd available at all times, but cannot guarantee that Vegferd works without interruption. Features may change or be removed.
5. Right of Use
Vegferd, the maps and the content belong to us or our suppliers. You are granted the right to use Vegferd as described in these Terms, but not to copy, resell or extract maps and data from Vegferd.
6. Liability
Vegferd is an aid. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by information in Vegferd being wrong or missing, by Vegferd being unavailable, or by you acting on instructions from Vegferd.
The limitation above applies to the extent permitted by law. We cannot exclude liability for loss we have caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and the limitation does not take away any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by agreement.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data. It applies together with these Terms.
8. Changes
We may change these Terms when Vegferd gains new features, when the law requires it, or to correct errors and ambiguities. Changed Terms are presented in Vegferd and must be accepted before Vegferd can be used further. If you do not accept the changed Terms, Vegferd can no longer be used.
9. Governing Law and Complaints
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law.
If you disagree with us, please contact us first so that we can try to find a solution. If we cannot agree, you can complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet), which mediates between consumers and businesses. You may also take the matter to court.
10. Contact
The current Terms are always available in Vegferd under Settings and at vitigeo.com.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to vegferd@vitigeo.com.
By selecting "I Agree", you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms of Use.
